RHS Course Selection Guide
CTE
RHS offers eight programs of study for students interested in Career and Technical Education.
Science
Graduation Requirement (3 Credits) Many four year universities require four credits in science.
World Language
Students who plan to attend college need two years of the same world language for entrance requirements.
Music
Includes classes such as choir, audio engineering, band, orchestra, songwriting and theory.
Other Classes
Includes classes such as ACT Prep, English Language Development, Study Hall, Leadership and JROTC
ELA
Goal: Ritenour High School students earn at least one Language Arts credit each year.
P.E.
One credit in physical education and 1/2 credit in health are required for graduation.
Theatre
All courses taken in the Theatre pathway can be considered elective or fine art credit.
North Tech HS
Junior/Senior Years—Students can earn two credits per semester at North Tech High School.
