Ritenour High School Hours

School supervision is not provided before 7:45 a.m. or after 2:55 p.m. except for students involved in after-school activities or study under the supervision of a staff member.

Early Dismissal Times

Ritenour's calendar includes five early dismissal days for Ritenour students in grades K-12. On early dismissal days, the school day ends two hours early for students. Lunch times are adjusted so all students have the opportunity to eat lunch in all Ritenour schools on early dismissal days. After-school care is available on all early dismissal days for elementary school students.

Ritenour High School/Husky Academy: 8:05 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.
Middle Schools: 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
* Elementary Schools: 8:40 a.m. - 1:25 p.m.
Julie Hahn Center for International Learners: 7:10 -11:20 a.m.
Early Childhood: Full day students dismiss at 1:25 p.m. Afternoon classes do not meet. 

*Please note that if you have bus riders, an adult or the child’s older sibling must meet kindergarten and first-grade students at their bus stop. If no one is present to meet the student, bus drivers are instructed to return the child to school.
